Africouleur photo 1 Above all it's the story of a passion that began in 1996, when Ferouz ALLALI left for Togo. Fascinated by the culture of the african continent, she dreamed and designed a line of ready to wear for women and kids and also men, realised in african textiles full of colors and motives : bazin, wax, splash, indigo...

Willing to participate to the local economy, she works in harmony with the togolese crafters.

In 1997, she opened her first shop at the Bastille in Paris, and got encouraged by her success. Today, AFRICOULEUR is located at 108-110 rue Saint-Maur in the eleventh district of Paris, and seduces an audience seeking for originality.

Ferouz ALLALI leaves for Togo three or four times a year, to be inspired for the upcoming season, a unique collection she realises thanks to the know-how of the local artisans.

Driven by its success, AFRICOULEUR has diversified its activities by proposing a line of accessories (tuareg jewelry, pearls jewels, bags, shoes) and household linen (fitted sheets for bed and tableclothes).

Each of AFRICOULEUR's models is a call for exotic travel. They represent a very subtil mix between traditional african and western culture.
